Corrective Math Intervention
Our Direct Instruction math intervention provides strategic and intensive instruction to students in primary grades through adult who have difficulty performing math at grade level. We meet the learner at their skill level, helping them reach their current grade level placement. For example, a 5th grader with 2nd grade math skills can improve one to three grade levels with 30 lessons of instruction.
The series focuses on core concepts, rules and mathematical reasoning to help students:
• Learn and retain facts.
• Understand place value.
• Understand fractions, decimals, percents and their relation.
• Solve computational problems.
• Accurately translate word problems into numerical statements.
