Meet Dr. Margo
CEO/Professional Educator
Margo grew up with a passion for learning and knew that she was destined to be an educator. Since she began her career, Margo has held a variety of positions from an elementary education classroom teacher and special education teacher all the way to the superintendent of schools in Colorado.
Dr. Barnhart’s formal education includes degrees in Liberal Arts, Elementary Education, Special Education Teaching & Administration and finally her doctorate from Harvard University in Administration, Planning and Social Policy in 1991. During her career, Dr. B. was a pioneer in the charter school movement authoring some of the first charters for schools in Greeley, Loveland and our own Windsor Charter Academy.
Dr. B., as her students call her, is currently the CEO of Ala Carte Learning Solutions, Inc., a public benefit corporation she founded in 2015 when she retired as a professor of elementary education at UNC.

Hi! My name is Tami and I absolutely love Ala Carte Learning Solutions! I assist a variety of age groups with different levels of math and reading comprehension. This program is wonderfully smart! Each platform builds on critical basic components and allows the students to fully grasp foundational concepts to assure proficiency before moving on. The improvement and growth in each student are visible and I love to see them interacting and comprehending the topics that before coming to us were so painfully hard for them. They improve so quickly and can easily achieve a 1-2 grade level advancement in no time at all. Watching them gain confidence and pride in their learning makes me love my work here!
As a mom of a son with ADHD, I have experienced first-hand the learning deficits that other methods create and then do not address. The struggle is real and I wish I had known about this program for him. But, now I have the incredible privilege of being able to help other kiddos in their educational journey.

Teaching Team
Certified Instructors
All of our Ala Carte Learning Solutions instructors are trained using our proven teaching program. Our instructors are background checked and are carefully placed with students ensuring a good fit for successful learning.
Setting the standard in providing quality, one on one teaching, learners can expect to have the same instructor for their entire 30 lessons. This gives our teachers time to get to know their student and learners can focus on their lessons and not worry about seeing a new instructor each time.
We focus on building relationships with all our students, and encourage them to grow at their own pace.
